The Matias De Llano, Jr. Elementary School Administration, Teachers, and
Staff in conjunction with parents are committed to the belief that each and every one of our students will
receive quality academic instruction in a warm and supportive environment, and be given opportunities
to develop socially, physically, and intellectually. In our united effort, we will direct our students to
reach their highest potential in order to become responsible, productive citizens in our community. As
parents and educators, we will strive together to make “today’s dreams tomorrow’s treasures.”
About Us
Matias De Llano Elementary School in Laredo, Texas, is a public school serving students in grades PK-5. It is part of the United Independent School District. The school emphasizes providing a quality academic and supportive environment for all students, aiming to help them develop socially, physically, and intellectually. The school was established in 1993 and was named after a local rancher and community leader.
